Roberta Fulton Fox received her undergraduate degree from the University of Florida in history and political science. She graduated from the University of Florida College of Law in 1967. Ms. Fox clerked for Selig Goldin and then joined the Legal Services of Greater Miami where she concentrated on civil rights litigation. In 1973, she entered private practice by creating a new law firm with Myron Gold where she continues to concentrate her practice in the areas of employment and civil rights, family law, and personal injury work. Ms. Fox served the people of South Florida for ten years as a distinguished and honored member of the Florida Legislature. In 1977, she published a law review article on the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction Act, which was passed into law during the 1977 session of the Florida Legislature.
Ms. Fox was a pioneer in securing the passage of employment background screening legislation, changes to the evidence code facilitating testimony for young victims of crime, an equal educational opportunity act in Florida, and family law reform including passage of the original statutory language giving rise to equitable distribution in Florida. Subsequent to leaving legislative service, Ms. Fox served on the Governor's Clemency Panel and performed work for the Parole Commission and has concentrated her professional efforts on her law firm. She is a recipient of many awards and recognitions including the 1973 One of Ten Outstanding Young Women of America Award, the 1986 Florida Women's Lawyers Association's Judge Mattie Belle Davis Award for service, and the 1996 Women of Impact VIII Award.
Ms. Fox is the 2004 recipient of the Pioneer of Miami-Dade County award and has been named for first chairperson of the Advisory Committee of the Woman’s Study Center at Florida International University. She is now certified as a mediator and provides legal and mediation services in Florida and across the southeast United States. She is a qualified arbitrator under the laws of Florida.

Myron Mike Gold received his undergraduate degree in business from the University of Miami and graduated from the College of Law, University of Miami, in 1953. After graduation from law school, Mr. Gold joined the United States Army and is a Korean War era veteran. He was assigned to JAG during the course of his military career. After serving the US army, Mr. Gold joined the Office of State Attorney for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit and for Miami-Dade County, Florida where he served in major crimes prosecution under the legendary Richard Gerstein. After a decade of service to the State of Florida, he and David Tobin created a law firm specializing in the representation of business clients and criminal defense work. Subsequent to Mr. Tobin’s elevation to the Circuit Court, Mr. Gold formed a new law firm with Roberta Fox, where he practices today as of counsel concentrating on personal injury litigation and criminal defense work. Mr. Gold has been practicing law for over 50 years and is an experienced and talented litigator. His specialties include complex criminal defense matters, family matters, personal injury and civil employment cases.
Mr. Gold has been community activist with special interests in Kiwanis activity, human rights work and Democrat Party politics. He has held many offices in local and state civic groups including the FFWPC, the PRO-ERA coalition of Florida, NOW of Florida and the Democrat Party. Mr. Gold has served two separate terms as a Democrat Committeeman in the Carter Administration and in the Clinton Administration respectively. He is an avid UM Hurricane fan and booster as well as a member of the university of Miami Alumni Association. Mr. Gold has been a frequent guest speaker and lecturer for civic, political and professional groups. He is a member of the Florida Bar and Supreme Court of the United States. He practices in all state courts and all federal courts and is a member of the Florida Academy of Trial Lawyers and a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
